Reekers Art

Old Shimpaku is an original pastel painting celebrating the timeless beauty of an ancient Japanese juniper. Its vibrant reddish living vein and weathered white deadwood emerge against a luminous, ethereal background, capturing the resilience and quiet dignity of a tree shaped by nature and generations of care.

Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi, this artwork honors the beauty that comes with age and the passage of time.
