Description
This painting was painted on location (plienair) at Ronald W. Wilderness Park. Every Friday Socal Papa members would meet at Orange County Regional Parks here in Southern California. I am enamored with the foothills here in Southern California. This painting captures the wilderness and historical look at our landscape here.
My oil paintings are made from professional grade oil paints. I allow the brilliance of the colors to enhance the view and emotion of the work. The goal is to fully express the Southern California light and the feeling of the day in which it was painted.
